PRIVATE CREATIVITY WORKSHOP

$250.00

During this private three-hour workshop you will learn to go within as you tap into your innate creativity, making choices along the way to create your art (and life) from the inside out.  I will guide you while you create an authentic piece of art designed to bring your heart and mind into balance, the blending of intuition and logic.  We'll chat beforehand to see what you want to accomplish during our time together.  Then I will design a custom experience where you will 'meet yourself on the canvas.'  Perhaps you are feeling stuck — then we might paint freedom.  Maybe you need more guidance and support — so wisdom might be needed.  Feeling a bit disconnected? Maybe you create wholeness and connection instead.  We will be working in layers, allowing one layer to flow into the next.  Ancient shapes, symbols and marks may also inform your art as you play with color, explore your inner wisdom and embark on the path of creative self-discovery.

For most in person art classes and creativity workshops you will only need to bring yourself!  All supplies are usually provided for creativity workshops.  Occasionally, you will be required to bring a few basic materials (for example, a large canvas) which helps me keep costs down and make classes and workshops more accessible.  A  materials list will be provided prior to the workshop when items are needed from home.

You will receive all tools and materials for the Beginning Zentangle® Class and Essential Zentangle® Series.  These tools will comprise  your Tangle Tool Kit and are yours to keep.  Please note, you will be expected to bring these materials to subsequent Zentangle® classes. For Zentangle® Inspired Art (ZIA) classes, participants should bring any tangling supplies they already have.  Advanced Zentangle® and ZIA classes usually include a new tool(s), technique and/or supplies for your use and sometimes to keep.  A materials list and what to bring  is included in class and workshop descriptions. If you have questions or need clarification, don't hesitate to ask!

Other than that, be sure to bring your "beginners minds" and curiosity.  Also, you may want to bring a smock, apron or wear clothing you don't mind getting messy.  We tend to have a pretty fun time when we play and create in the studio.

For public or group offerings, there are no refunds, no date changes, and no make up classes.  If you cannot attend you may send someone in your place if you notify us in advance.  For private classes or sessions, if you cancel within 48 hours you may reschedule. Your new session must be scheduled within 3 weeks.

The Studio is located on the fourth floor in The Holliston Mills Building in Holliston, MA, (MetroWest Boston).  The building is a walk-up and is located close to the town center near shops and cafes.  The best way to get here is by car.
